They say two halves make a whole
and that explains so much.
Like why I feel a rush of love
from the mere act of your touch.
And when I think about it
as I'm sitting all alone.
I realize, that you're the one
who makes me feel I'm finally home.
We must have been separated
way back at time's beginning.
Although I didn't know it
all my life I have been searching.
I think that you're the one for me
I guess you'd call it fate.
What to do, now that I've found you ?
My darling .. My Soul Mate.
It's not a feeling you can force
you're born with it in your soul.
And for reasons so unknown to me
until I met you I wasn't whole.
I didn't even know it
Just accepted my lonely fate.
Then you came along, singing my soul's song
and I knew I'd found my mate.
