KaSandra's Sunflowers

Sunflowers

Sunflowers swaying in the breeze
Hues of yellow, gold, and brown
Shimmer softly among the trees
As some bow gently toward the ground

They tilt their petals toward the sun
From whence their name derived
And though the wind at times blew fierce
The Sunflower still survived

As I gaze at these awesome beauties
I reach down to pick just one
My eyes behold this wonderful gold
As they reflect the morning sun
