Fabric of Friendship


It's funny how the years fly by,
yet you and I remain the same.
There for each other, no matter the time.
Our hearts are bound together.

We encourage each other when we're down,
and laugh together when we're joyful.
We count on each other
yet, no words need to be spoken. 

We are woven into the fabric of our lives
different and beautiful threads
creating a magnificent blanket
growing more beautiful with time.

The Fabric of Friendship keeps us warm
shields us from life's disappointments
protects us from loneliness,
and is one of God's most precious gifts.
