Long ago
before I saw the wind sweep through your hair~
or the sunset's glow upon your face~
I was yours, and you were mine.
Forever Valentine.
Before our hands touched
or our eyes met~
when my heart was still waiting for~
our fingers intertwined.
Forever Valentine.
The Universe knew
long before I ever did~
and before you ever did~
that we would share the gift of time.
Forever Valentine.
And as the hands of time~
flow through our lives~
snow white hair~
fingers still intertwined.
You will be
