You Are (The One)
You are like the
flame on a candle
Burning warm with
fire and passion.
I look into your eyes
and I feel
A burst of love
rush through my body.
The mere thought of you
paints a smile on my face
And it reaches into
every part of my being.
You are the one I think of
when I am with others
And the one I want to be with
when I am alone.
My soul is made whole
when I'm with you
And feels incomplete
when I'm not.
Thoughts of you
swirl through my mind
Like the ebb
and flow of the tides.
Like the first
gentle flakes of snow
You blanket my life
With pure, sparkling love.
You are the half
that makes me whole
The angel
that makes my world.
You are The One
