The Bible School Teacher 
Was curious as to how her young children saw God. 
She asked the class of 7 and 8 year olds 
To draw a picture of God, as they saw Him.

Wandering around the room she saw many of the pictures 
Shed expected to see 
Flowers, birds, the sun, animals and so on. 
But one picture intrigued her.

It was that of an old man. 
When the child was questioned about her picture, 
This is what she had to say.

This is a picture of Granddad. 
He loves me very much and I love him. 
God is love so I think He must look just like Granddad

The teacher left the class that day feeling, 
Once again,
That she had been the pupil and had learned a precious 
Lesson from a child of God.
