A Child's Prayer
Dear God, it's me, Your little one,
at the end of another day.
Did you see how very hard I tried
each step along the way?
I used a lot of tender words,
just like I know I should.
And after that I spread my love
as " bestest" best I could.
I let my light shine "really" bright
so everyone could see...........
the power of one little girl's love,
the gift from You to me.
As I lay down and go to sleep,
my angels all draw near.
The world is now a better place
because You put me here.
