Of a wish that would come true

It would be to know the inner man
The heart that beats in you

To reach inside with hands of love
And hold for just a time

The intimacy within your soul
You say is only mine

To have you touch the same in me
And see what waits for you there

A heart that beats wild, strong, and free
With a love that it's willing to share

If you could touch me now my love
Your heart would come undone

You'd claim my heart as yours alone
And Two would beat as One
